Manufactured by Pick A Leaf, this plate is made from the naturally shed sheath of the Areca Catechu palm and provides a plastic-free alternative for serving complete meals in a single disposable plate.
The four-compartment design helps keep main dishes, side dishes, curries and accompaniments separate during serving. Its deep 2.5 cm compartment profile reduces food mixing and supports organised meal presentation, making it suitable for cafeterias, banquet services, educational institutions, event catering and hospitality businesses. The plate is designed for importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail brands and international sourcing teams requiring natural disposable compartment plates.
12-Inch Round 4-Compartment Plate

The plate is manufactured from 100% naturally shed sheaths of the Areca Catechu palm. The raw material is washed using water without added chemicals and formed using a heat-pressing process at 180°C.
The plate features a 2.5 cm deep compartment profile with a material thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm. The compartment dividers and heat-pressed reinforcement ribs provide additional rigidity while helping the plate maintain its shape during food service. Smooth polished edges improve handling and presentation.
Each plate retains the natural appearance of the palm sheath, with minimal natural grain variation covering approximately 10 to 15% of the surface. Products are inspected to maintain zero tolerance for cracks and edge defects.
The four-compartment layout allows different food items to be served separately while helping reduce mixing between gravies, side dishes and main courses.
The plate is resistant to oil and moisture and can hold liquids for 6 to 8 hours under normal serving conditions. It is suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 120°C, making it appropriate for both chilled and hot food applications.
The plate can be used in microwaves for up to 2 minutes at high power and in ovens at temperatures up to 200°C for a maximum of 45 minutes.
During production, the moisture content is maintained at 6 to 7% to support product stability during storage and transportation. When stored in sealed, dry conditions, the recommended shelf life is 12 to 18 months.
The plates are supplied in shrink-wrapped POF packs of 10 pieces, with one silica gel sachet included per pack to help control moisture during storage and transportation.
For wholesale and export shipments, the plates are packed in 5-ply export-quality corrugated cartons. The nesting design allows the plates to stack closely, reducing unused carton space during storage and transportation.
