This 10 inch round areca palm leaf plate is designed for full-meal service where higher load capacity and liquid handling are required. The 1.5 inch deep profile supports liquid-rich foods and mixed meal portions, providing a spill-proof alternative for food service operations and catering operations that demand stable handling during service and transport.
The plate is manufactured from the naturally shed sheath of the areca catechu palm and heat-pressed at 180°C to achieve a rigid structure with a semi-hydrophobic surface. Industrial-grade durability is maintained through a natural wall thickness of 1.5–2.5 mm, allowing consistent performance across a thermal range of −20°C to +120°C. Liquid resistance is sustained for 6–8 hours without deformation under normal service conditions.
For logistics and export efficiency, the plate is engineered for tight nesting to optimize carton fill and container utilization. Moisture content is controlled at 6–7% to ensure ocean transit stability and reduce the risk of warping. This configuration improves export efficiency and lowers freight cost per unit, supporting high-volume importers managing consolidated international shipments.
The product undergoes chemical-free processing and is UV treated to meet food safety requirements. It is food-safe, compostable, and export-ready, aligned with phytosanitary and international trade compliance standards without reliance on added chemicals.
