This 12 inch round areca palm leaf plate is designed for full-portion meal service where larger serving areas and higher load capacity are required. The round geometry supports balanced presentation of main courses and side servings, while the 1.5 inch deep profile enables secure handling of liquid-rich foods, functioning as a spill-proof alternative for food service operations and catering operations managing high-volume service.
The plate is manufactured from the naturally shed sheath of the areca catechu palm and heat-pressed at 180°C to achieve structural rigidity and a semi-hydrophobic surface. Industrial-grade durability is supported by a natural wall thickness of 1.5–2.5 mm, ensuring consistent performance across a thermal range of −20°C to +120°C. Liquid resistance is maintained for 6–8 hours without deformation under standard service conditions.
From a logistics and export efficiency standpoint, the plate is engineered for tight nesting to optimize carton density and container utilization. Moisture content is controlled at 6–7% to maintain ocean transit stability and minimize the risk of warping during long-haul shipping. This configuration improves export efficiency and helps manage freight cost per unit for high-volume importers.
The product undergoes chemical-free processing and is UV treated to meet food safety requirements. It is food-safe, compostable, and export-ready, aligned with phytosanitary and international trade compliance standards without the use of added chemicals.
