This 6 inch round areca palm leaf bowl is designed to address controlled serving requirements where liquid retention and portion accuracy are critical. The bowl is manufactured from the naturally shed sheath of the areca catechu palm and heat-pressed at 180°C to form a rigid structure with a semi-hydrophobic surface. Industrial-grade durability is achieved through controlled wall thickness in the 1.5–2.5 mm range, enabling consistent performance across a thermal range of −20°C to +120°C. The bowl maintains liquid resistance for 6–8 hours without deformation, supporting hot, cold, and mixed-temperature applications.
From a logistics perspective, the bowl is engineered for tight nesting and efficient packing, reducing void space during shipment. Moisture content is maintained at 6–7% to ensure ocean transit stability and minimize deformation risk.
