6 Inch Round Deep Areca Palm Leaf Plate – Export-Grade Bio-Disposable
This 6 inch round deep plate is engineered for compact serving formats where portion control and spill management are critical. The diameter is suited for side servings, desserts, and controlled meal components, while the 2.5 cms shallow profile provides containment for liquid-rich foods. This configuration addresses handling challenges in food service operations / catering operations where smaller plates are often prone to overflow during movement and service.
The plate is manufactured from 100% natural shed sheath of Areca Catechu palm and heat-pressed at 180°C to stabilize the fiber structure into a rigid, repeatable form. Heat pressing creates a semi-hydrophobic surface and delivers industrial-grade durability with wall thickness maintained between 1.5–2.5 mm. The material performs reliably across a thermal range −20°C to +120°C and offers liquid resistance (6–8 hours), supporting wet or mixed food items without deformation over typical service durations.
From an export operations perspective, moisture content is controlled at 6–7% to preserve flatness, nesting efficiency, and ocean transit stability. The compact round geometry nests tightly, improving export efficiency, lowering freight cost per unit, and enabling predictable carton planning for high-volume importers managing containerized shipments.
Processing follows chemical-free processing using water-only washing, with UV treated sterilization to meet food safety requirements. The plate is food-safe, compostable, and export-ready, supplied with standardized primary packing, moisture control, and documentation support to align with international bulk sourcing and distribution requirements.
