This 6 inch square deep plate is engineered for compact servings where portion control and containment are required within limited surface area. The square geometry improves space utilization on trays and counters, while the 2.5 cms deep profile functions as a spill-proof alternative for liquid-rich foods. This configuration supports side servings in food service operations / catering operations that require stable handling during transport and service.
Manufactured from 100% natural shed sheath of Areca Catechu palm, the plate is heat-pressed at 180°C to lock fiber density and shape. The process produces a semi-hydrophobic surface with industrial-grade durability, maintaining wall thickness between 1.5–2.5 mm. The product performs reliably across a thermal range −20°C to +120°C and offers liquid resistance (6–8 hours) without deformation during extended use.
From an export operations perspective, moisture content is controlled at 6–7% to ensure nesting efficiency and ocean transit stability. The square profile nests tightly, supporting export efficiency and lowering freight cost per unit for high-volume importers managing consolidated shipments and predictable inventory cycles.
The plate undergoes chemical-free processing using water-only washing and is UV treated for food safety compliance.
