This 8×8 inch square shallow plate is specified for food service operations / catering operations that need a stable main-serve format with controlled plating area. The square footprint increases usable surface for portion control and consistent presentation, while the shallow profile supports fast pass-through and stacking during high-volume service. The plate is formed from areca sheath and heat-pressed at 180°C to lock the fiber structure into a rigid, repeatable shape. The structure holds through a thermal range −20°C to +120°C and provides liquid resistance (6–8 hours) for typical service exposure to sauces and moisture without rapid soak-through.
